Ignore the scoreline, this was much more one-sided than the statistics show. Even Fuckwit 365 and PA News said that their goals were against the run of play. Needless to say, JH came back and played a blinder, scoring twice, creating a third and “scored” a cracker which was predictably rejected from the ref.
The first half was a blitz, though the second half looked like a bit scrappy. None the less, I don’t expect to play totally brilliantly for the 90 minutes, but it was more than enough today. Top performance awards go to JH, Carl Cort, KC as ever and the newbie, one H. Hrialdsson (who gave us that “edge”). Not such a good game today for Maggie though, he was yanked off half-way through the second half, presumably injured, and was totally at fault for their first one. Not really too convinced about Euell and Gayle either, but then I assume that the latter was more focused on signing a new contract for Leicester….
Drillo reckons that this was our best performance this season, especially the first half. Though he conceedes that it wasn’t so good second half, overall it was much better. That said, what we DON’T need now is to do our usual against Villa and Soton, these are as, if not more, important as todays match. True, we may have beaten “only” Bradford, but they’ve still got to be beaten haven’t they?
Minus point on today – still can’t keep a fucking clean sheet, guess we’re trying to break a Premiership record….
