Michael Hughes to return at Smog Central tomorrow? Well, that’s what Lars is hinting at, with a “he deserves his chance” comment possibly saying everything. Maybe his little, er, rattle-throwing episode is over, and he’s back in favour? Or maybe the muppets’ collective strop would maybe be a little too much to bear.
Anyway, Lars reckons what he does in training is phenominal, and who knows, if he comes back he could make a difference? Remember last season at the Riverside the way that Gareth Ainsworth cut open the Boro defence? I guess that Wild Thang’s recurring groin has perhaps been the final straw for Drillo.
Also, KC and JH face late fitness tests. Sadly, Dean Blackwell is fit as well. Additionally, much work has been done this week on winning it in the air, so with Brian Deane up front for them, it may well be needed.
